What's today? They all blur together...

So I know it's been awhile since I've wrote, what can I say? I'm lazy, you all knew that. Seriously, nothing interesting has happened to write about. That means I get to bore you with my fun, fun doctor's appointment story.

So I called to make my yearly check up appointment a month ago and today is the first day they told me I could get in. Whatever. I wait for over 20 minutes in the waiting room listening to babies crying and kids annoying the crap out of their parents. The whole time I'm reading my very appropriate class module, Firearms and Toolmarks. I think more than one mom was scared of me. When I finally get seen my blood pressure is incredibly low at least for me, we're talking 107/72. I guess the blood pressure medication is working. On a sidenote: I was prescribed the meds to prevent migraines. Come to find out what is causing them is the birth control patch and my period. Who knew? Anyway, the doctor comes in and starts going on about how I need to get assigned a primary care manager (PCM) so I can see them. Umm, excuse me, I have one. I was not given a choice when I made the appointment, I had to see her. So after listening to her go on about how I should have to see my PCM for my checkup she starts getting on my case about not doing monthly breast exams. Hey, at least I admitted I don't do them. How many women lie to their doctor about doing them? Then it's a, "I'm going to refer you to the Yokosuka hospital and don't forget to take your vitamins" and I'm out the door. Did I put my child in the CDC just to hear some lady complain? No of course not, at least I was able to buy groceries before picking Crazy up so the morning wasn't a total waste.

Let's see, what else to bore you with....

I'm still chugging along with my class. I've managed to get good grades despite the fact that I never start to write or research my papers until the day they're due. I seriously lack motivation lately. Hubby's back home for awhile so I blame him a little for distracting me. Luckily (or not) Hubby will be leaving before the next classes (I'm sucking it up and taking 2) start, otherwise I'd be in serious trouble.

Crazy finally started saying Mama a week or so ago. I never get tired of hearing it. He is too adorable. I hope he never grows. I think Hubby's a little freaked because I'll be trying to cuddle with Crazy (he hates it, key word is trying) and going on about how I want him to stay this size and how we should stop his growth. Seriously though, doctors can do that now, it's highly unethical, blah, blah, blah. But my baby would stay cute and adorable forever. Okay, so it would be extremely creepy and weird. Don't worry, we're not going to do it (Hubby put his foot down).

Hopefully I'll have something more exciting to write in the near future. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be because of a trip!
