Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  It was a gorgeous day here, just perfect for hunting eggs.  The kids look Adorable (that's right, with a capital A!) in their Easter outfits.  My mom made the girls matching dresses and I made Mr. R coordinating suspenders and bow tie.  Notice I took the easy route and did not attempt Easter dresses.  I'll leave that to the pro. :)

Our neighbors who live across the street from us hid eggs for all the kids in our court.  So the kids were even more excited to discover that this year the Easter Bunny hid eggs in the front and backyard.  Mr. R and Boo had a great time hunting for eggs and they even managed to help one another instead of fight!

Pop Goes the Weasel

Boo's getting ready for her dance recital in June and the parents were allowed to stay and watch them run through their ballet dance.  I tried my best to get a good view of Boo, who's naturally wearing her bright green leotard, but the little girl next to her made it very difficult for me.  Sorry about that!

Our FROG

When we bought this house we knew that one of the first big things we'd like to do is finish the room over the garage.  Ok, that and paint over the hideous color in our bedroom and the kitchen.  We hired a local contractor who didn't annoy me (seriously, the first one we interviewed apparently had an issue with talking with me instead of Hubby without being rude) and told them to quietly make some magic happen (don't want to wake the baby sleeping in the next room).  Here are some before pictures of the room:

It took a little over a month to complete because they had to bring the walls in to make the room a "bedroom".  The kids were so excited to have their playroom completed.  Here are some photos of the FROG (finished room over garage):

 We now have a sleeper sofa, recliner, and tons of kids toys in the room but it's still plenty big. Boo has designated the room as her napping place.  I'm so glad it's finished!
