There's kind of an inside joke at work that one of my co-workers is the "cockroach queen." She can tell you way too much about cockroaches. Odd, right? Anway, for her birthday I made some cockroach mini cupcakes. They turned out pretty cute in a weird sort of way.
When I showed up at the office with the cupcakes she was out on a call so we arranged them all over her desk like she had some kind of infestation. When she arrived a little later we surprised her with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" and a candle stuck in a cockroach. Even though Hubby thought that making her cockroach cupcakes for her birthday qualified as an insult, she loved them. Obviously she got the joke!
