The day that all three of our kids head off to school came much quicker than we planned. I signed Hiccup up for the 2 year old preschool program at Boo's school this week because the girl was getting in the way. Well, sort of. With Hubby being gone, I'm responsible for getting the house, kids and cats ready for an overseas move. If you've never moved overseas you have no idea what a pain it can be. I talked to Hubby and he agreed that it would be a good idea to put Hiccup in a program so I could get some things done kid-free. She'll only go two days a week for four hours, but that's plenty of time for me to accomplish things without worrying about keeping her entertained.
While she's off enjoying playing with new friends and new toys, I'll be shuttling cats to vet appointments, downsizing the house, getting the house ready to rent, and going to endless doctor's appointments to get our overseas screening completed.
Hiccup was thrilled to get to take Mr. R's old Thomas the Train backpack and her new giraffe lunchbox to school. My wonderful neighbor will be driving both of the girls to school each morning and Hiccup loves the fact that she finally gets to ride along with them. Hopefully she enjoys her big-girl time, because after we move she'll more than likely be stuck at home with me again.
