Several of my friends are expecting babies soon so I've been busy making baby shower gifts recently. One of the gifts I made for a friend in Hubby's squadron was helicopter onesies. She was over at the house the week before and commenting on a helo shirt I made for another friend's daughter, so I decided that I'd make one for her little girl-to-be as well.
I couldn't help myself with the wings on the bottom. It's hard to see in the pictures but the green wings coordinates with the colors in the helo on the front. I made her another onesie in a larger size using different colors of pinks for the appliques. I think they turned out really cute and she told me that both her and her husband loved them. Now if I only had time to make some for my own baby-to-be!
