THAT'S RIGHT!!! Hubby came home!!! I dragged the kids to the airport in the middle of the night to go pick him up. He was supposed to arrive earlier but his flight was delayed. No matter! Pjs at the airport are fun! I told the kids that Grandma was coming in (just a white lie since Grandma was coming, just not that day) so it was fun to watch their reaction to seeing Hubby arrive instead.
The kids were thrilled after they were fully awake and able to comprehend that he was actually home for a short visit. Even though it was a quick trip home, it was the best possible way to end Mr. R's birthday!
